UPDATE ON THE SOCIAL VISIT PASS (GRADUATE PASS) FACILITY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

  1. PURPOSE:

    1. This bulletin provides an update on the Social Visit Pass (Graduate Pass) facility for international students and their dependents. It follows our previous updates issued on 5 December 2023, 21 February 2024, 16 May 2024, and 13 February 2025.

    1. The Government of Malaysia is pleased to announce the expansion of the Social Visit Pass (Graduate Pass) facility to include all ASEAN countries, reflecting Malaysia’s continued commitment to fostering regional mobility and creating opportunities for graduates. The newly eligible countries are:

  • Myanmar
  • Philippines
  • Cambodia
  • Laos
  • Vietnam
  • Thailand
  • Indonesia

    • International students from the countries listed above may now submit their applications for the Social Visit Pass (Graduate Pass) and the Social Visit Pass (Dependent of Graduate Pass) via the EMGS website: https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/graduate-pass
