EMGS HOSTED STUDY IN MALAYSIA GLOBAL ALUMNI NETWORKING DINNER WITH THE MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION

KUALA LUMPUR, 29th May 2022 – In collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MoHE) and Education Malaysia London (EML), Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) organised the Study in Malaysia Global Alumni Dinner with the presence of Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad in London, the United Kingdom.

The dinner gathered the Study in Malaysia Alumni, who have studied in Malaysia either in full-time tertiary or mobility or exchange programmes. The prestigious alumni dinner serves the purpose to encourage, foster, and promote close relationships between the alumni and delegates from Malaysia. 

Also present at the dinner were Datin Maizatul Akmam Alawi (Chairman of EMGS), Mr. Mohd Radzlan Bin Jalaludin (Chief Executive Officer of EMGS) and the delegation from Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and the representatives from the Malaysian universities.

The Minister of Higher Education Malaysia, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad shared in her speech to all alumni that despite the different levels of study and types of higher education institutions, she believed that all alumni who are present at the dinner have spent a reasonable amount of time in Malaysia and experienced how beautiful Malaysia is which has so many exciting places to explore.

Chief Executive Officer of EMGS, Mr. Mohd Radzlan bin Jalaludin in his speech highlighted that alumni play a vital role that contributes in many ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and the country of origin of our alumni. “EMGS is committed to building a good partnership and maintaining networks with our alumni. With the multiple roles they contributed to the society today, they will be a perfect role model to our current students to achieve the same success as they did. They are also the living proof that Malaysia offers a world-class education and indeed our higher education institutions have produced successful alumni,” he added.

The dinner was a fruitful function that provided the opportunity to create a bond, maintain a good relationship, and share experiences as well as success stories between all alumni and other delegates from Malaysia. EMGS aims to keep a strong relationship with all alumni who have studied in Malaysia from around the world.
